Around Miami Beach, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across Florida sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ7 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (917) 312-9454. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, us1.list-manage.com.

Miami Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Miami Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Brian is awesome instructor, I already knew how to play, but was really rusty from being stopped a long time. He took me back to the basics, but in a good, creative way which helped me notice my mistakes and visualize the correct movement and from then on every time I missed a ball I knew exactly what I did wrong, would rethink it and make sure I wouldnβt do it again. Would recommend him to anyone!

The tennis clinics at Backhand city are the best way to learn the skills to play recreational tennis. The coach Brian is very knowledgeable and the classes are extremely fun and dynamic, not to mention an awesome workout. I had a great experience and would recommend this business to anyone looking for a fun way to learn tennis.

Bryan knew the right answer to pretty much any tennis problem that I asked him, be it technical, physical or mental. "I hate pushers" I said, coming to the lesson. He helped me solve my problem - overcome anxiety to play people who like to give you slow no-energy balls, that I used to overhit out (I'm more of an attacking player). I learnt that every tool/move has a remedy, as long as you ask the right coach! Highly recommended for players who actually want to advance their skills via training sessions.

Great coach and knows a lot of what's going on in the local tennis community and loves to share that and teaching tips.
